Hidden
I should have seen it coming
You were like all the rest
Warm words could hide
The cold heart in your chest
The walls I had built
I let you destroy
I thought I would find
True happiness and joy
I shared my dreams
Allowed you my heart
The only repayment
You tore it apart
I can not believe
How foolish I had been
Those walls have to be built
Once more again
They are stronger
No one can break through
I am no longer trusting
All thanks to you
The true me buried
To deep to ever find
Never again to be hurt
By one of your kind
I am safe now
Protected at last
So I do not live
The mistake of the past....
