wave at the people.
Laugh at the jokes, and then
dance to the music.
Nod and gesture with
certain learned movements.
Dance with the beat,
and copy the others.
Be ready to greet
them with a firm
but confident handshake.
Make sure others see the passion
and the sorrow of deep loss.
Walk and chew, act as if,
then when the day is done.
Go home and plug in,
your favorite show is on.
Then; to bed.
Take the pills, one at a time.
