Echoes of Essence
In the echoes of the darkness in me
In the essence of the blackness I see
These is no room for love anymore
No space for the sun, the moon, and the stars.
And the streets of my heart
flow cold and hard
from the love that I've seen
that has gone and missed me.
The clouds have gone grey
and in the sun's shade
white-ice raindrops fall from the sky
to leave me all but lonely and cry.
No words leave my lips anymore
in songs and sounds I adored.
No more warmth graces my hands
and all but burning fire ravages my veins.
My fingers no longer trace
the smiles and tears of your face.
My eyes don't close for sleep now,
all my life has left me somehow.
