Let me get caught up today
get what I haven't done complete
stay current with all I should do
instead of dragging my feet

I've had all this time
I've wasted it so
just staring out into space
procrastinating what I should do
not getting out in the race

I know I'm slow but that comes with age
The years have gone by for me now
I can't catch up with all I should do
There's no need in asking now
