And slowly, so slowly, I fade.
Until like a wisp of barely lingering fog I drift.
Then as a whispering wind smears my vague image
I am spread thin, like a ghost dying,
And I disappear completely
But only things that are forgotten are gone forever,
And I dwell still in your memory.
You wonder, chasing after me in your dreams,
So I teasingly appear to you again....
A shadow falls, conceals me
And with muted footsteps - or perhaps no footsteps at all, for later there are no footprints - I make my secret departure,
and slip away through the dark to merge with the night,
never to be heard from or seen again.
But of course I never really was, was I?
Because you imagined me, so I came.
But I am gone now, because you have forgotten

Poetry: Forget me not
And slowly, so slowly, I fade.
Until like a wisp of barely lingering fog I drift.
Then as a whispering wind smears my vague
Forget-me-not,
Bluis h are the petals of this bloom
Growing beautifully near my grave
I am unable to touch or smell it
Buried
REMBERANCE
No frost on the ground, but each breath came as steam
and tears teetered on lowered lashes.
The moon was
The gift
A gift was given,
A life was saved,
But what a cost,
A family's grave.
The one unknown,
Her life was spared,
The greatest
When the rains come down
and it feels like no ones around
Forget me not.
When your eyes cant stay dry
and you wish you would
