Governor Palin is one of only fifty Governors in the United States. This fact, in and of itself, qualifies her for the office of the vice presidency. She has earned her way to one of the top political positions in the country, so why wouldn't she be ready for the office? Anyone who would argue that Governor Palin isn't qualified as a serious candidate is simply not being intellectually honest, because it is quite obvious that Sarah Palin is an intelligent, strong, and capable leader. She has accomplished far more than Barack Obama, and it is quite obvious that Barack is very intimidated by her.

Sarah Palin has energized this country as few others have been able to do, and she has helped to make John McCain's resume far more palatable to more Americans, and she has clearly strengthened the Republican ticket. The Governor has driven home the point that McCain is the better choice, there is little doubt in the minds of most, and this has been reflected by all of the polls. The McCain-Palin ticket has taken the lead, and will probably not relinquish it for the remainder of the campaign. Barack Obama realizes this, and he has even resorted to name calling, making the mistake of attacking Governor Palin on a personal level, which will only help to bring the Republican ticket more votes. Obama is in way over his head, and that is becoming increasingly more obvious each day he opens his mouth in public. The Democrats have chosen the wrong person as their Presidential candidate.

Instead of concentrating on presenting his positions, Barack Obama has concentrated on McCain's choice of Governor Palin as his running mate, and this has been his undoing. It's almost as if Barack has turned the election into Obama verses Palin, and John McCain and Joe Biden have been almost ignored by the main stream media.

I think that the biggest mistake that Obama has made in his run for the presidency has been his choice of Joe Biden as his running mate. By choosing Biden, a Washington insider, Barack has sabotaged his promise of change. Biden was supposed to give Obama the appearance of adding experience to the Democratic ticket, but instead, Biden has only dragged down Obama, having added nothing that most American voters find appealing. A far better choice would have been Hillary Clinton, even though I believe that Sarah Palin would still have given the Republicans the lead because she delivered the perfect acceptance speech.

Sarah Palin is Governor of Alaska, and has one of the highest approval ratings in the country, and it's easy to see why. She's self confident, bright, has many friends, and a beautiful family. If she isn't qualified to be vice president, then no one is.
