I danced with the devil,
Because he fed me a line,
Words upon words,
Mixed with rose colored lies.
Words of deception,
Flowed sweet like wine.
And I drank every word,
Savoring his lies.
Words are just words,
I yearned to believe,
Falling helplessly to my lover's feet.
Losing myself to the mask that he wore.
Losing myself to words,
Nothing more.
