How to bring autumn inside your home

As the weather is cooling, your focus will begin to shift to the indoors, and you'll soon find yourself spending more and more time in your home. That's a great reason to make your home as pleasant as possible.You can bring the warm, cozy feeling of a beautiful autumn day right into your home with these easy decorating ideas.

Switch to Rich Autumn Colors - Draw inspiration from the rich colors of the falling leaves - orange, brown,yellow, bronze and even red. You can introduce these earthy tones by repainting the walls to these rich shades. That's a quick way to introduce a warm autumn ambiance into your home. You don't have to repaint the entire room, often just painting one wall will make a dramatic and stylish change.

If repainting sounds like too much work or expense, then you could introduce splashes of these vibrant, warm colors through the clever choice of accessories, such as throws, pillows, vases and so on.

Decorate with the fruits of the fall harvest, such as pumpkins, acorns, nuts and berries. Mini pumpkins placed along the mantelpiece or along the driveway add a splash of color and style to your home indoors and out.
