Love at first site? This is an age old question; Does it exist or not? What do I believe, yes I believe that there is and can be situations amongst two stranger that could be called 'love at first site.'
The phrase itself implies that it is a visual connection. Men are by far much more visually stimulated by the opposite sex or thoughts or images of the opposite sex. Women are less visual but I still believe there can be love at first site for both men and women. However I don't believe that the catalyst for the feeling of 'love at first site' is a visual one.
There are men and women who love each other and get along wonderfully and have a connection that most all others envy. People who meet my wife and I are amazed by the way we interact and how open and honest and communicative things are. This is a case of alot of hardwork and alot of communication, I did not fall in love at first site. Our relationship evolved over time.
My first wife however I experienced something I had never experienced before and have experienced anything remotely similar to it sense. The moment she and I made eye contact I fellt a million thing sthat I had never felt before, on and emotional level and everyone of them was intense and very positive. In line with my previous statement I do not believe this case analysis was create or caused by visual stimuli.
What I have called karma in my life and something I called 'woo" are the culprits responsible for the love at first site aspect of my connection with my first wife and I believe can explain most other occurrences. Woo is something that a person has or emits, it's like charm or charisma but more emotional, charm and charisma are active processes 'woo' is a passive process and one either has it or does not. Also one with very good woo will affect some more than others and possibly some not at all.
Modern science is making great st6rides in the areas of pheromone reserach and we are beginning to understand how our body chemicals can trigger and induce reaction to another person. These reaction are not always instant and not always intense with burning desire, but they can be. There is still yet much to understand but I believe science holds the answer to this question. I find the surreal and subjective view of love at first site in a romantic light that is very sweet, however I think the answer is far more linear, scientific and logical.
