Republican Party = Walking Contradiction
The Republican Party is defined by a need to limit central government intervention or obstruction in the public's lives. This statement has become oxymoronical on the social side of politics and legislature. The Republican Party should reword this statement to say that it only feels this way in the event of taxation and monetary gains. The Republicans definitely believe in a "trickle-down theory" of economics. It is believed that if money is offered back to businesses that the economy will continue to roll and encourage growth. This, like many of the "theories" of the Republican Party, has not proved itself effective in the last eight years in the new "global" economy. But I digress; the real issue at hand is that the Republican Party wishes to control every aspect of the social side of American's lives. Republicans wish to make an amendment to the constitution making the union between a man and a woman the only acceptable union under law. This seems to buck the idea of small government, or limited government control. On a constitutional note it is unconstitutional to bring the ideals of the church into the affairs of the state.

Along those same lines; separation of church and state, separate but equal is inherently not equal, the public must also remember separation of powers and balance of powers. These bullet points are fresh in everyone's mind from high school government class or history class but they do not apply to our current President, a member of the Republican Party. The Executive Powers Act expanded the scope of spying the executive office could use and broadened the definition of what powers the President could call upon while at war. This one is easy to see as a blatant expansion of the government into the lives of its people. Republicans mean small government for their wallets and not for your culture or society.
Lastly we must talk about sex. Not only because it is a good way to attract the reader's attention back to the crux of the issue but because it is the most heinous atrocity the Republican Party wishes to impose upon the citizens of "the free world." First, they don't want our children to be taught Comprehensive sex education. This leaves abstinence-only teaching which doesn't work. Yes, some kids heed the warning and don't have sex until they are in a long lasting relationship but human nature and the lessons of thousands of years show us that we are animals and animals have sex whenever they figure
