adventure expectation aren't the same as mine. So! for me to tell you that it will be hard for the Army to not pass your thrill, excitement, or adventure level is somewhat absurd!
I've a had a couple of jobs while out of the Army, one of those was working for a taxi company in the airport. I've never had to wait so long to get paid in my life. Helpful note ( pay period was every week ). Uncashable checks, paid one week and excuses the next two weeks. This business was so unorganized. It was more like a miracle if all the employees got there check two weeks in a row. I think a couple of people would've fainted if that happen. My point is if you're with a company that pays you under the table and the money isn't the same when it's suppose to be or you have to wait every other month when you're told that the job pays every week... no need to worry the Army has your money in your back account the 1st and 15th of every month. NO MATTER WHAT! For this reason, companies that require payment plans are more open to letting you rent or lease the merchandise. It's nothing to see a new soldier rolling off the car lot with a shinny new car. The payment that the Army has set up, holds a certain safety net. Soldiers know that if a accident occurs their money is within arms lenght and is safely tucked away. Something else to point out, it teaches soldiers to invest in their money wisely...what person doesn't want that?
Family connection, leadership, education, adventure and reliable pay are some of the reasons any individual or myself should consider joining the military. These 5 reasons are strong enough to drive out any negative thought you might've had lurking in a small corner of your mind.
