Pushing forward beyond past sins
And making this new start reel in
All that went before.
As I sit behind the shadowed storms
Sliding backwards beyond the morn
And making this old end take form

And longing to leave this interim behind,
And keep it in a time I called before.
I left it behind, beyond my crimes,
Beyond past sins and beyond the morn
And sit here now, and remember this,
My past life is all that went before.
