I Danced with Angels
It is with Angels that I danced, and frolicked in the night.
It was within that moment that I touched the starlit night.
I wondered how they knew that I could love so tenderly,
They whispered to my heart, "Only love will set you free."
I did love once, my soul did fly to lands so far away,
I touched the rainbow while it breathed, I cherished every day.
My loneliness and heartache is so apparent now I see;
I Danced with Angel's, felt them near, a kiss they gave to me.
Now when the night is still, and the moon is on the rise,
A loneliness, still fills my soul, I count the stars and sigh.
I wonder if I'll trust again, to travel midst the skies?
One day I think I'll know when I see an Angel in her eyes.
