How to find people in your area to play in your band

local gigs in the area and see if there's anyone suitable there. Ask around with your friends, family, and school/work friends also; you may just find that someone this close is entirely suitable and you didn't even know it. Hold rehearsals with all those that are interested and find the person that is best suited to your band. Don't just go with the first person you find, try people out and see if they work; if they don't then you know that the search must continue and you must therefore look elsewhere.

Finding people in your area to play in your band is not always easy, be persistent with it though and always keep on looking. Sooner or later your persistence will pay off and you'll find the perfect band member. If at first you fail; try, and try again. Look around and keep on looking until you find the perfect person. Ask people if they know of anyone that could fill the role, list advertisements locally and just generally hang out in places where you feel that relevant musicians are likely to be. Keep on asking people and eventually you will find someone that can help.

Putting a band together can be a very difficult process and you need to find people you can work well with, once you find the perfect band mates you're sorted however and can start happily creating music together to the best of your ability.
