My Dear Friend
My dear, my darling princess
first line of botoxed stress
sends an emergency signal
a need for rescue from duress
fake emotion a magic potion
like the trance of screaming
she's been dreaming
you worry about a broken nail
you do not face broken bones
and bruises hidden by a hat and veil
such a priveleged life
no fear and no internal strife
a black widow who sits at an angel's harp
drenched in silver and gold
she won't strike at the strings
she strikes out with words instead
of bullets, too good to be told
so innocent to the sinners
so sinful to the innocent
need the blood of martyrdom
need that angelic look
make yourself a little hungry
cause of a girl so greedy
Look into the mirror
All you see is a sharp cut
of a cunning figure
no reciprocity
what does it mean
your life's a car crash
down by the tracks waiting
when you get your score
on the wrong side of downtown
upper class white trash
with peroxide on her mind
your fake contact lenses are blind
you know what I mean
