The value of a college degree is endless. Obtaining a college degree shows persistence, strong will and appropriate time/stress manangement skills. There are so many obstacles to obtaining a academic degree that can hinder a persons . How am I going to pay for college? Will I ever be able to pay off the college loans? Am I taking too great of a risk? How did I manage school and family? The answer to these questions are not easy or without risk but with persistence and determination it will all work out in end. These difficult question keep many people from even trying to earn a degree. How will you ever know if you can earn that degree if you never try?
Thirty years ago people could get great jobs without college degrees and make good money. Now, that is simply not true. A thirty or fourty something worker may have a supervisor that is younger and has less life experience than them just because they do not have a degree.
Even if you never use your college degree, at least you could say you tried and succeeded!
