Some would find me useless.
Others would say clueless.
Still others say ruthless.
I am different.
Maybe I am divine.
Perhaps out of my mind.
I think I'm late for this time.
I am different.
They think I am strange.
Weirdly comfortable with change.
Possibly a shade of deranged.
I am different.
My life is crazy.
My ambitions far from lazy.
My dreams a bit hazy.
I am different.
Being sane is overrated.
Being a woman is outdated.
Being me is complicated.
I am different.
Sometimes I just go numb.
My strings come undone.
My thoughts begin to run.
I am different.
He says its my vanity.
She says its my insanity.
I say its my profanity.
I am different.

Poetry: Sanity
by Tom Mcmurray
Banished as we are from God
We are the sacerdotal lepers
Of the moon who feed upon
The universal majesty of star-dust
You
"To Find Myself"
I'm the lost reflection of you
Yes, I'm the sinner and beggar too
Too far gone to be saved now
Long gone lost
Dear Sanity, you are my only friend
But why do you disappear and then come back again?
Do you not realize how much I need
No one will be the wiser,
if their involvement is not known.
incompetency is the issue,
until you have no tone.
if recognition
Congratulations!
You made it through another day,
and the little white men didn't take you away
in their padded wagon
to a place
