I woke up one morning.
My house was a mess;
The roof is a leaking..
And the kitchen was wrecked.

I live in in a flood zone,
I think I will move.
Laundry comes first,
And then I make food.

My husband is gone,
And gone for 2 weeks.
I have to be strong,
Because I ain't weak!

The trains keep a coming,
Down the tracks from the house.
The dog food is churning,
I think I may hack.

The people are friendly,
And why wouldn't they be.
They live in a hell hole;
And maybe a sea.

I hate this town,
I hate my damn house;
My children are spoiled,
My daughters' a louse.

Ray Charles ain't got nothing,
Nothin' on me.
But he is dead,
And I think I will be.

But I can't do nothing,
But put one foot in another
Then I get a call,
From Satan, my brother.

He tells me how well
That he is doing,
I don't know,
Who he is a foolin.

My Momma is sick,
Old and tired.
My sister is trying,
But noone is buying.

I could go on,
But who gives a shit.
The garden is growing,
And I have to go pick.

I really need sleep
And a Dr. or two.
But who's got the money
And the bills are all due.

I got the Aurora, BLUES
