When I have absolutely no time to make food, but not about to grab fast food, I pull out my crock pot. I made up this recipe when I was short on time and ingredients.
Half Made Chicken Chowder
3 large skinless/boneless chicken breasts
1 can of hearty vegetable soup in a large can (any favorite kind)
1 can of creamed corn
1 frozen bag of mixed vegetables with corn as the main ingredient
1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper
1 loaf of hearty bread
So just start dumping. Cut up the chicken into hearty chunks and then dump it all, except for the bread into the crockpot. Put it on high for 3 hours or low for 5-6. Dip bread when its done for a good, healthy, hearty meal that took all day but without you at the stove. Enjoy!
