I am a different person today.
I am more self-confident
and at ease with my imperfections.
I am a woman who has worked
and played hard.
I have memories that taught me lessons.
And I am grateful for them.
I am no longer afraid of being me.
I am no longer fearful of each new day.
I've learned how to be free.
I am a believer in miracles.
I am a lover of the graces
I've been so freely given.
And which I can help others find for themselves.
I am someone who has been given a second chance.
I hunger for knowledge today
and I can help to open the door for others.
I am able to dance
I am able to laugh.
I am able to sing.
I am able to bask in the warmth of my life today
and my soul is now content.
