How has religion helped this world since its beginning, if at all? So many different ways to get to God, so many holy men, so many traditions. Does God really use thousands of different ways for us to get to him with so many contradicting theologies and doctrines? So are we better off without religion?

Religion is the body of specific persons adhering to particular set of beliefs and practices. Doesn't the average person get confused with so many so- called paths to God? I believe yes, but most people adhere to some sort of religion or religious belief anyhow. The problem is we know they all can't be correct because so many of them contradict each other when it comes to God, afterlife and how to get to him.

A GANG OF RELIGIONS TO CHOOSE FROM

Since we know that most of the worlds population would lay claim to some religion in one form or another, we must accept the fact that obviously the world is "not" better off without religion, for it has formed the governments, ideologies and social structures of the world. So then which religion can demonstrate itself to be true? No one likes to follow a lie.

Most Religions don't make any sense if you look at them logically. Lets look at a few. The Muslims tells us that Allah is god and you have no promise of eternal life. Hopefully your good works outweigh your bad. Gautama Buddha said man has no soul and that this current life is unreal, believing in reincarnation after death. Hindus do not believe in a personal loving God. They want eternal life but must get out of the endless cycle of death and rebirth through meditation and good works.

Postmodernist look to the god within themselves and that there is no sin and everyone has their own truth. The Wicca religion (cult) recognizes that everything living is deity and that everything living is progressing further upwards into stronger deity. Christian scientist say there is no such thing as prayer and a sinner makes his own hell on earth as the saint makes his own heaven on earth.

Mormons say that the gods of eternities past gave birth to the Father God of the bible and he is nothing more than an exalted man, "where God is man can eventually attain the same level of godhood."

Do any of these religions provide proof of their supposed truths in their holy books? No. Can they demonstrate themselves reliable through prophetic examples? No. Religion leaves people empty, disillusioned and broken hearted in the end. Why, because they lead mankind astray from truth. It's like a pig trying
