~My love of writing~

My love of writing
pours from within.
The sentences form paragraphs
deep under my skin.

The random thoughts
course through my veins.
They help me to express
my joys and pains.

I can't put down my book.
I won't release my pen.
There's so much to let out.
I just can't hold it all in.

I rush to write on all subjects.
I want to stay diverse.
It doesn't matter if I am journaling,
or just rhyming in verse.

The words taste so delicious,
when they are swallowed by my soul.
Every detail completes me.
Without writing, I'm not whole.

It is a strong desire.
It is my carefree choice.
My opinions have meaning.
I finally have a voice.

Writing is a hungry addiction.
It is a burning passion.
It is my method of therapy.
My love of writing is more than fun.
