'Spring'
Like a young girl,
brimming with glee,
she skips across the meadow,
dressed in yellows & greens.
Her youthful vitality inspires,
provoking new desires
in all who see.
The stream's icy water melts
at her warm, gentle touch -
reflecting her vibrant colours
as it swells & flows.
Birds joyfully sing
in the greening branches above.
Flowers, rising from slumber,
stretch & turn to watch her dance
in the sun's welcome glow.
Lambs leap playfully by her side.
Showers of rain only enhance
her invigorating display.
Our hearts give a cheer
-Spring's finally here!

One bright morning
