Dream Boy Adventure Number 1

Chapter 1 Meet Jeremy

The warm Durban sun was just peeking over the varnished wooden windowsill. Little brown finches were fluttering about just outside the window on a thin branch extending from the Oak tree in the garden. It was a new day, a new start.

Jeremy Hutton liked waking up in the morning. Everything is right when you wake up. You can smell the Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow's, the cut grass and coffee in the Kitchen. You can hear the birds greeting each other and the gentle sea breeze rustling through the leaves. Overall it is just plain peaceful, especially when you're 13 and have no worries in the world. He sighed.

Crash

Oh no' Jeremy thought as his blue bedroom door swung open, got to get out of bed before', Jeremy! Come on, up you get! The day is nearly over.' Jeremy's older sister of 17, Penny, was tugging at his cotton duvet, and pulling at his arms. Her long brown hair was tied back in a neat ponytail. It's not six o' clock yet. I don't have to get up.' Jeremy protested, I'm awake. Just want to lay here a bit more.' with that, he turned his head and ducked beneath the covers.

Oh please!' said Penny rather annoyed, you've been in bed for more than 11 hours. You have to get up now!' Her hands were on her hips in a weird motherly sort of way. Jeremy however, thought it best to begin his day as he always did, and tell of his dreams from the night before

I had this really weird dream Penny.' he started quickly from underneath his duvet, about flying through the air. You were in it too!' he exclaimed, and then sat straight up in his bed. An overwhelming feeling of excitement crept through his body as he started remembering his dream.

You were driving funny old car, and you were 40 years old!' Jeremy let out a little chuckle. You looked the same though, weird hey?' Jeremy looked at the ceiling; the fan was spinning slowly, dust had started to cling to the blades. He was trying to remember the rest of his dream, but it was leaving his mind quicker than he could remember it. I was flying above you and going really fast. What do you think that means?' Jeremy looked at Penny all confused.

It means,' she said with a great pause, if you don't get out of bed and down to the breakfast table, I'll chuck you out the window and you'll really be flying!' Her sense of humour was not that funny at six in the morning. Jeremy was feeling a bit drained from his busy dreams and Penny was not helping one bit.
Come on now!' she whined again. This time
