2007 Super Bowl predictions

Deuce McAllister and rookie RB Reggie Bush, Saints are only 19th in rushing offense.

#2 Chicago Bears
They will play in SB XLI
Ranked #2 in scoring offense and #3 in points allowed. The only team in the league that does not have to go to New Orleans to get to the Super Bowl. They have showed that they have the potential to be dominating on both sides of the ball.

They won't make SB XLI
The most inconsistent team in the playoff. It wouldn't surprise me to see this team lose to Seattle or end up winning it all. Everyone points at Grossman, and I'll agree a lot depends on him, but the defense has been inconsistent too. In the last 4 games they have given up an average of 26.25 points/game. The offense is really just average, ranked 15th in passing, 15th in rushing, and 16th overall.

#3 Philadelphia Eagles
They will play in SB XLI
Hottest team in the NFC, now riding a 7 game winning streak. Offense is better than people think, ranked #2 in total yards and #6 in scoring. QB Jeff Garcia has played some inspired football down the stretch. Rushing offense is ranked only 11th, but RB Brian Westbrook is averaging 5.1 yards/carry.

They won't make SB XLI
Can any team go into New Orleans and win a playoff game this year? It's going to be quite a feat to overcome all that emotion and be able to contain the Saints offense. Accomplish that and they still may have to go to Chicago. The defense is only average, 15th in points allowed and 15th overall.

#4 Seattle Seahawks
They will play in SB XLI
Maybe team of destiny after being handed (or was that mishandled) the victory over the Cowboys. This is the same team that made it to the Super Bowl last year.

They won't make SB XLI
Sorry Seahawks fans, but if I were to rank all 8 teams they would be #8. Injuries have made this team a shell of what they were last year. QB Matt Hasselbeck and RB Shaun Alexander have not yet returned to top form after early season injuries. More telling was losses to the offensive line, both through free agency (RT Sean Locklear) and injury (C Robbie Tobeck). Both offense and defense is ranked in the bottom half of the league, 18th and 19th respectively.
