" Sould the internet be taxed ? " No , but the internet should be monitored to some extent...
I can express infinte debates why the internet shouldn't be taxed , but when it's all said and done their gonna do it anyway. It should be monitored , but it shouldn't have to be . The reason for my saying is to people know that most of the cases of reported child molestation and kid-nappings were of kids from the age range of 9 to 14 . Now I do ask if the internet was made for children then it would have been made for the child in mind . Now the invention serves a nice purpose for many excluding the rapist that are still out there . So to tax a free an easy convenience such as the internet would and would feel like a silent crime . The reason being you ask . Almost the entire world is already taxed so why tax something that has nothing to do with you unless by choice . The Internet makes some people's lives more livable , and to take that and tax it . You must be joking ! Their already starting and it's been going on for years so I must assume this article title is talking the internet as a whole . Please do not deprive us of such a freedom . For we as a people must have at least one thing to at least call our own. As far as monitoring that should be takin care of in the household I say . If your 6 year old what to play " Dora the Explorer " on the interneet then why don't you watch her while she plays it . If your 13 year old daughter chats online why don't you make sure you know with who . That's no one's job but the parents . It might sound like i'm fussing and I probably should be . Good parents watch their children anyway so this is for the one's who gives their kids " space " . When their grown then give them space , but as long as there under your roof watch what their doing . Meeting people online I a risk and you know that before you do it , so do not punish everyone for someone else's mistake . As a writer I believe people can meet in all fashions , but either way you must be careful . Carelessness could leave you unhappy and even dead . I do show strong simpathy for those who have suffered from an internet blasfamy , but they were somewhat careless of the freedom they gave the child at the time . If I had kids I would watch them . But for those with kids you knew when you had the lil rascal you HAD to watch them . So why stop when they're 9 to 14 , even 18 . With this said don't think I'm shading away from the government taxing our free will , cause I'm not . Just giving you readers something to think about if you don't already think the same way about the issue .
