Labor day. What is it that we celbrate and why? And what are the things that we do on this day that almost 3/4 of the nation is home with there families? In the following article I am going to give you my take on this subject and how I feel about Labor day. And how I feel about the people that are unable to celebrate it with us.
Labor day is the day that gives relief to all the hard working people of the United States. A day for you to relax and have time with friends and family. A well deserved day in many peoples eyes. While insome others they think it is not needed. But all in all as Americans....who doesn't like to have fun?
Now, MOST people think....Labor Day is just Hamburgers, BBQ's and beer. But not everyone celebrates in that manner. People love to take there children out to the park, or maybe even a trip to the beach. Or even plan a short family vacation, somewhere close. There are alot of things that can be done on this Holiday and you just need to look through your town resources and find what things there are to do.
This Labor day, My family stayed home. We relaxed watched movies, had the kids out back jumping on the trampoline. BBQ some chicken and had time with the family. It seems now adays life is so hectic that we rarely get to spend time with eachother anymore so this day was a blessing to our entire family for the time we got to spend with eachother. Working so hard all the time to try and keep up with the economy makes days like this very special. I hope your Labor day was fun and I hope that you got to enjoy your family the way you should have.
Although there are some families who did not get to see there loved ones as they are over seas I am sure they were in there hearts and phone calls were made to there loved ones. To all the men and woman overseas that were not here to celbrate this holiday with us we thank you very much for everything you are doing for our country. Thank you for making us safe and able to have these fun ti mes with out families and feel a little better about things. Everyone wishes you well and we all hope to see you home soon again. We are staying strong for you as you are being strong for us and we thank you for that.
So as you can see my outlook on Labor Day is very simple. Spend time your family and enjoy it while you can. Your kids will grow fast, grandchildren etc. The moments you have with them now will never be the same again as we all grow old. So take any day that is given to you to be with them and cherish it and use it wisely.
