is suffering.
There is cause for suffering.

There is path leading to the cessation of suffering.

The Buddah also presents a step by step procedure that his followers may practice inorder to get peace and enlightment referred to as the Noble Eight Fold Path which entails a list of ethical procedures. If a devotee embracres the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eight Fold Path and is diligent with his meditations, he should eventually reach Nibbana or Nirvana.

All of you non-perfect people, like me, will be happy to hear there is no heaven or "hell" in Buddhism . "Sorry, you gotta give some to get some." Additionally, there is no soul or afterlife. At least not from the Western Culture perspective. The Buddah was asked once what happened to people after death? He replied that he didn't really know, since he wasn't a psychic. Buddhism does endorse reincarnation, meaning you probably will continue to be reborn to another earthly life after your death, until you reach perfection, then you will go into a state of Nabbana, Enlightenment.

Yahew established a covenant with Abraham. (Genesis 17, the Holy Bible, Old Testament) And did He ever! He told this 99 year old man, that he was going to make him great and famous. He was going to be the Father of many nations.

Here's the best part, Yahew told Abraham he was going to get all of these goodies, but he needed to make a covenant with Yahew inorder to see the fruition of all of these wonderful promises. That covenant entailed that Abraham, and all of the other males in his house, needed to be circumcised.

Abraham, along with his son Ishmael, were circumcised shortly thereafter. By the way, guys, Abraham was 99 years old when he got circumcised.

The humor in this story was when God told Abraham that he was going to have a baby with Sarah, his wife, Abraham fell down on his face laughing. He told the Almighty he was 99 and Sarah, was already 100 years old! God told Abraham not to worry about itit would happen, so
