Utopia
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like.
To live in a world filled with peace and light?
I desire it so much it has become an obsession as such
Oh when will that day come?
How I wish I would not be associated with the gauntlet that is war and injustice!
I try my hardest to search for an outlet but alas! It is not there.
As I begin to despair I hear a voice somewhere.
It tells me to go on since the battle has not yet been won.
I yelled back: I do not have the strength to go on fighting this battle.
The voice said: go on prove your mettle.
Stand up against those who did you wrong.
You will win the battle before long.
I realized the voice was right.
That in the face of adversity I had to show my might.
And so I continue to fight.
Hoping to one day see a world filled with peace and light.
