Miami will win. Not 1, not 2, but SEVEN or more. So there you have it. SEVEN or more. After dismantling and removing nearly every player with a head hanging, confidence lacking, lazy work ethic, the NEW coaches in Miami have instilled winning through hard work in the players, the fans, and the community. Now it's your turn, infidel. My fellow DOLPHANS or PHINATICS know what I am talking about. Parcel's template is simple. Take raw talent, youth, and proven pro-bowl caliber veterans, mix them together and let them prove that they are the amongst the best in the league within three years of being assembled. So why did Thomas, Taylor, and Feely have to go despite their pro-bowl credentials? Simple. They were the captains of the old team. Natural response from the 26 players left would be to seek the leadership of those players. POW. They are not on the field. Not in the huddle. Not even the billboards around town. New leaders. New talent. New coaches. New Attitude. If Ricky and Ronnie run as I believe they will; they will both get 1000 yards running against some of the softest (losers) in the league on our schedule. Big Chad is teaching Little Chad what it takes to be a leader in the league and huddle. Little Chad's listening and will get to watch as a cerebral quarterback often compared to Manning, FARVE, and yes, Marino picks apart defenses and hands the ball to two of the best North/South runners in the league. Ted Ginn despite the boos a year ago will live up to his billing and become the double-covered deep threat on the field. That leaves a seasoned tight end to catch the quick release passes of Pennington. Henne and his rocket-launching arm, starts late in the season, earlier if Pennington gets hurt. Did I mention that the offensive and defensive lines are both going to handle their opponents from the first game on? These are not the lineman of old, these guys are huge and will produce great push and pressure. The running backs in the backfield are going to be able to break into the open field and get gains greater than four yards per carry on average. A balanced attack will feed into the gameplans and keep the opposition honest. It is my expectation that many teams will underestimate the dolphins and wake up when it's too late. Finally, coach Sparano is a spitter. You've seen them before, they get in the player's faces, start screaming, grit their teeth, neck arteries popping out all over the place, and eventually spit left and right as they shake their head while stomping off away from the player (see also Bill Cowher). Intensity comes natural to this man. Produce or you'll hear it fellas (from the front office down). Miami wins seven or more this year. Playoffs? With help and a soft schedule...Maybe.
