Company Potatoes
1 large package frozen hash browns - thawed
1 medium size onion diced
8 oz of cheese grated cheddar and jack cheeses work great
8 oz sour cream
5-6 sliced or diced mushrooms
Diced green onions
3-4 slices of bacon - cooked
8-10 oz of chicken broth
2-3 drops of hot pepper sauce
Black Pepper
2-3 gloves of garlic-crushed
1. Heat oven to 350
2. Cook bacon and slice vegetables.
3. Place hash browns in rectangle baking dish.
4. Mix in onion, of the cheese, of the sour cream, pepper sauce, garlic,
mushrooms and of bacon. Add black pepper to taste.
5. Top with remaining bacon and cheese.
6. Bake on 350 for 25-30 minutes.
7. Remove and top with green onions.
8. Bake for 5-10 minutes more until warmed through out.
9. Top with sour cream.
This dish freezes well.
