The need to escape rising prices and global food shortages, stirred us towards having a garden.The more we thought it was a great idea, the more daunting it became. Well, finally, we thought the more of us that do this, the more we can roll back a culture of food miles and driving to the supermarket. It's surprising what you an get into a plant pot. All those stories about the fabulous taste of food from your garden...Hmm..well, that's true. There is a feel good factor as well when you dig up your own spuds. We started with easy growing herbs and tomato plants, before tackling the intricacies of a large patch. Since i love roses so much, i decided to have them in pink, red and white.
