All children are different, as parents soon find out the child will mirror what they see you (the parent) do. If you have a child that is resistant, you can tell him/her to at least try the vegetable before saying they don't like it. I have found that works with any type of food because it makes the child relate the taste to the logic. "I don't like corn because when I tasted it, it didn't taste good" rather than "I don't like corn because it looks bad." What I did with my son from the days of the jar "veggies" I try to incorporate the ones he likes more into meals more often. My son loved all green vegetables and still does, so to make sure he gets his vegetables, I make sure to cook his favorites. If your child doesn't like a particular vegetable, you can try hiding it foods that he/she loves and they won't even know the difference. From my experience pasta, mac & cheese, spaghetti, and soup are just a few dishes that make it easy to slip the veggies in and still maintain their taste!
