Character analysis: Xena, The Warrior Princess

In a time of ancient Gods a Warrior Princess decided to fight for the greater good. Her village is Amphipolis where her family lived. Her mother Cyrene sadly was burned at the stake for being a witch during her daughter's super long nap. Her big brother Torres and her little brother Lycius was killed when he stood up and fought with his sister when their village was endangered. She never knew her father Atrius who was killed by Cyrene to protect Xena who he was going to kill when she was just a child.

Xena went through an evil phase and her encounter with Caesar didn't help matters any. She had her share of men throughout the years but that kinda came to a stop after Gabrielle entered the picture. She has quite a list of lovers like Borias the father of her son, Marcus who she even managed to get horizontal with after his death when he got a vacation to live a few days from Hades, Caesar who betrayed her and Hercules and Iolaus two best friends. It was hinted at that her and Ares had something going on which isn't really surprising because of the heat between them.

Xena is one amazing fighter and likely one of the best in the known world. She even survived the gauntlet which is simply unheard of. She was gonna commit suicide but instead she ended up saving the village of Potedia from Draco's men a warlord she turned down and gave a scar to. So meeting Gabrielle changed her life forever with these two best friends who are truly soulmates.

She never saw her children grow up. Solar her son died when he was just a teen and she missed the first twenty-five years of her daughter Eve's life because of sleeping in an ice cave for all those years without aging a day. Her daughter ironically didn't have a father and turned out to be Callisto's reincarnated soul. She took after Mom by having a bloody and evil past to overcome.

Over the years she died a few times until the last when she pretty much allowed herself to be killed in her never ending quest of atonement. Gabrielle should have revived her those souls be damned but she didn't so Xena's spirit remained with her dear friend.
