The most important question in my life would be have a made a better life for my children than my parents did for me? I'm not saying that my life growing up was bad mind you, just different. So, of course I would like to give my children a little bit more than I had whether it be monitory items or better chances for them in life.
Growing up, my parents did the very best that they could. Of course, with four kids to raise and only one income in the house it sometimes could be very difficult for them. But growing up, I learned early on in life that money was not the most important thing in the world. Love, health and happiness meant more to me. I don't know if I feel this way, because we never had a whole lot of money or if I would have felt this way anyway.
So, with two incomes coming into our house it is possible for my husband and I to be able to provide the kids with the little extras. And, hopefully with both of us working, we are able to do a little better money wise than my parents did. But my motto is and always will be that money can't buy happiness. If I can live my kids the same love and support that my parents gave me along with those little extras then I think I would have answered my own question.
