Poetry: It was all me

by Roxanne Tracy

Created on: August 30, 2008

As I recall this story, although jaded some, and antagonistic.
He breathed, I looked, the look of pale darkness and blue eyes.
Sought me, caught me, sanity left me. Funny sounds now, it was all me, the silence
I had to buy.
The grief with you, over you, under you as I breathed in your scent.
It was all me. Running us, haunting us. I thought it was you.
You and your brilliance would hunt me down.
I thought you were hunting me down, loving me down.
You took me down, it was all me.
You whisper, I'm coming. This time it wasn't all me.
You left it and took it noooo, you left our peace, brought your enemy.
Mind. It was all me.
I took the images and put them in bags.
Wouldn't accept your worn out battle scars. Your worn out words,
this love was all me. All me.
It's me, all me that holds you still.
It's me, it's all me your fear will detonate.
Lets see, it's now all me, all me
we get to hate.
