Twisted Love
In the small town of Lucida, that was nearly impossible to find, lived a girl who only wished to be like everyone else. She had the most beautiful golden blonde hair in the whole town and eyes as blue as the sky on a sunny day. She was barely 15 and had the name of her great grandmother, Sarah. Sarah had become very solemn and lonely since the recent death of her sister Krissy. Krissy was the oldest of the two, 17. One night she was out on a drive and was hit by another car and was pushed off the edge of a cliff and died instantly. Since the death of Krissy, Sarah's parents were more than over protective of her and did not even let her go to a Friday night football game. She could go no where without her parents. Because of this, she often snuck out at night to be with her friends.
One boy to be exact, Brad. He was her best friend and they had been friends ever since they first met in pre-school. It was very likely that on a warm dark night the two of them would be sitting under the stars and sharing secrets and talking about almost every thing in the world. A couple years ago, Brad started feeling very differently about Sarah. He started getting butterflies in his stomach when he talked to her and he even started to blush slightly when he saw her in the halls. Yes, he was in love, and he knew it too. But, the one who didn't know was Sarah. She had no clue that her best friend in the world was in love with her. Brad knew every thing about Sarah. He knew her strengths, her weaknesses, what made her happy, what made her sad, he knew exactly what made her tick.
Sarah, by no means, had the same feelings for Brad as he had for her. No, for Sarah was in love with a boy who had just moved to Lucida. Zack was his name and he was in every one of Sarah's classes. She fell for him instantly. She loved the way his black hair blew in the breeze and the way his green eyes gleamed in the sunlight. He was a rugged boy and a "bad boy" type. This was what instantly held Sarah's intrest. Brad was almost the complete opposite of Zack. He had short brown hair and dark brown eyes. Brad was a very deep and emotional boy.
Brad got up enough courage and told Sarah to meet him after school. He was going to tell her every thing. The day couldn't of gone any faster. Soon he saw Sarah walking towards him and he tried to think about how he could tell her. She greeted him with a friendly hug and asked him what was up. He stumbled on words and finally burst out with "I
