Fill This Space
Do you think I like being like this?
Everyday is gone too soon
Do you think I like feeling like this?
Hangovers kicking in the afternoon
I'm being drawn towards the light
The lady comes to see me every night
Honey, I need to fill this space
Do you think I chose to tell these lies?
Those that you misunderstood
Do you think I chose my own demise?
Don't you think I'd change it if I could?
Don't you think I haven't tried?
God knows I don't want to die
Honey, I need to fill this space
The Horla haunts me through the day
Dictates the things I have to do
She writes these words I have to say
She tells me myths she swears are true
To soundly sleep without a dream
Oh, how magical that seems
Honey, I need to fill this space
