This season's English Premier League will be an exciting season as most of the teams are all competitive. This can be clearly seen with the new signings at most of the clubs. This even includes the newly promoted Hull City as well as Stoke City as what they had shown for the last two games. As the transfer market will ends this Monday, there are still some clubs like Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United over the Berbatov saga as well as Liverpool on Gareth Barry saga which might strenthen or weaken the respective team.
However, my top four teams are still basically Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. but frankly i'll pick Tottenham Hotspurs instead of Arsenal if they managed to get the Russian meastro, Arshavin who played extremely well espescially in the European Championship. Firstly let us talk about Liverpool. They are a well equipped side this season especially in the attacking where Robbie Keane will add more firepower upfront. However, their weakness is at defence where i believe Carragher and Hyppia is at the end of their career. However, they have a great goalkeeper in Pepe Reina. Frankly i believe this team is a better equipped team compared to last 3 seasons where they will be one the great contenders for the Premier League this season.
As for Manchester United, i believe they will be a complete side once they get Berbatov's signature. He's a type of player similar to Nistelrooy and with Rooney-Ronaldo support, he'll be a great finisher. For Chelsea, they are already a complete side and i don't see any weakness from goalkeeping to attacking department. Petr Cech still keeps his goal well, John Terry and Frank Lampard still shows great commitment as last season. Furthermore they are trying to strenthen the team by trying to sign the Brazilian Robinho from Real Madrid. However for Arsenal, i find that this team is full of youngsters who might be eager to play well in the League but will not be consistent in playing well. With Alexander Helb and Matthew Flamini's loss, they are relying solely on Cesc Fabregas to spearhead the midfield. Basically this is the reason why i'm quite pessimistic about Arsenal and choose Tottenham instead espescially if they are able to sign Russia's meastro, Arshavin. I think Tottenham will be acomplete side with him and will surely ousted aAsenal from the top four even thoughBerbatove will leave Tottenham for Manchester United.
Lastly my wish to see my favourite team , LIVERPOOL FC to win the English Premier League this season!
