Vaccine
Darkness comes with your anger.
Bruises spread across my skin,
like crows against the stormy sky.
Salty rose petals, spill
from my mouth.
Arias roar in my ears.
The presence of fear is upon me.
I cannot emote, cannot breathe,
I am immunised against
my humanity in
the cold stone
catacombs
of me.
