(can be read as an addendum to Robert Frost's The Road Not Taken)
Two paths did diverge not long ago,
Though both through yellow woods did go.
Tall, grasses, leaves, then myriads of trees
Have obscured my vision as I walk apart
From the way I left untrodden
My thoughts have been to go back and choose anew,
For here it seems few have been, or likely to be again.
Concerned am I that others know more
And so been leadto well traveled roads.
My pace has slowed, but I have not stopped.
I know the morning's breeze is fresh, as the sun is warm
And here, as on the other paths, the air is shared.
This way seems clear from my soul on out,
Just as I suppose the othersare for those who choose to so go.
Still though, I long for confirming company.
As each step comes to pass
And the splendor of this wood unfolds,
I am learning to look not back or ahead too far,
But rather up to a clear sky
Then down again to where my step is to take me.
