Although I no longer date since I recently married the second Mr. Right in my life, which I got right this time. Still, I know a thing or two about being hard to get and why it can and does drive men insane within the dating game. They like a challenge, which means the less challenging you are, the less interested they will be. I used the, "play hard to get," technique with husband number one and it worked immediately. He married me, but since people always end up being who they are, the act of being fake and playing games won't take you very far. When my marriage ended in divorce, I had to reconsider how I used and abused the wise, old way people date and find the perfect mate.
Suddenly single and shoved unto the dating scene, I modified the hard to get routine, because you see, I'd become much older by then and I was tired of playing games with men. To me the key in successfully using this technique to attract and draw men into your view, and keep them there too, is not to play hard to get, but to actually be hard to get through self confidence. There would be no game playing for me.
HOW TO BE HARD TO GET TIPS:
1. Find a bit of self confidence in your mind and allow it to shine.
You can do this by standing up straight with your head held high and smile as you walk into a room. When you do, this means that you've commanded the attention in the room. Since Mr. Right just might be watching you, focus on the task at hand, which is to socialize with your friends. Sit straight. Don't slump in your seat. Cross your legs as you sit, chat and laugh. As you do, forget everyone else in the room. You are there to be aware of those people who already care, not some stranger across the room. No matter what you do, focus and be happy to be where you are and who you're with. It's not a trick. It just is.
2. Don't demand attention but command it.
As I've previously mentioned, there's a difference between commanding and demanding. I've seen so many who don't have a clue why all the guys go after the girl who sits quietly in her seat with no ulterior motives but to have a drink or eat with friends she's happy to be with. Maybe you were laughing like a hyena and tripping over yourself pacing back and forth from one end of the room to the other, making eye contact and standing on your head, just to get the attention some other girl got instead. The reason is due to the fact that you demanded attention and she commanded it by behaving with dignity and grace. I'm sorry to say, that's
