Some things exist only in the eye of the beholder. Of course, beauty is the first thing that comes to mind, and the most common. Let's also not forget that each and every child is the greatest. At least in the eyes of it's mother. These two examples are common to most people, and accepted as part of the human psyche.

Tin-foil hats have not gone out of style, and Chicken Little is alive and well.

If you follow left-wing web, and/or blogs, then you know that Uncle Sam is one lowdown S.O.B. The US Govt, or at least the Bush Regime is responsible for all problems in the world, and even the lack of potable water on Mars. So, it's only fair to say that innocent people are being shuttled off to concentration camps like the one at Guantanamo Bay. The atrocities that occur there are unspeakable, and if you as much as Google the name, you will be under observation by Dick Cheney and gang.

Come on people ... you must be smarter than that?

My 14 y/0 niece thinks it's torture when I tell her that I love her in front of her friends. I think it's torture when James Carville opens his mouth and says anything ... that voice. We all have our own ideas of what torture is, and the thugs at Guantanamo are no different. They have nothing to lose, so screaming about their treatment just comes natural.

What benefit would the US gain by rounding up innocent people and water-boarding them? Do you honestly think that the folks in charge get some type of pleasure from hearing another person scream? I don't believe anybody really believes this. I think the problem is in the ears of those who hear these tales of mistreatment. They have selective hearing, and a tin-foil hat that reflects common sense back out into the stratosphere.

I'm not sure what they will do when GWB goes back to Texas to enjoy his retirement, and find out that Obama doesn't stop the torture going on at Guantanamo.

Surely nobody believes that the cries of rape and genital mutilation will cease with a simple change of leadership in the White House? All prisoners, domestic or otherwise are innocent. That has always been the case, all you have to do is ask them. I think the bleeding-hearts should consider what these thugs are capable of, and not be so concerned with their "civil rights".

One thing for certain, there have been no attacks on our shores since we cracked down on these thugs. I'm afraid that may be subject to change, especially if the weenie on the democratic ticket becomes president. The terrorists are thrilled at the prospect of "Obama" being our leader ... can you blame them?
