Are you planning a vacation to the East Coast of the United States? Do you love the romance, the pampering, the delicious breakfasts that staying at a Bed and Breakfast provides? Here are a few choices that will give you all of that and much more.

Inn Victoria

The Inn Victoria is located right beyond the town green of this quintessentially New England town. That makes it all the more amazing when you meet the "English" innkeepers. There are seven beautiful rooms and suites which all have private (most are ensuite) bathrooms. The rooms vary greatly in size and price. Their website will introduce you to all the rooms which are named after the children of Queen Victoria.

The entire house is WIFI and there is also a guest computer in the gathering area. Coffee and tea are always available and in the afternoon fresh brownies. Guests have their own parlor with a TV and plenty of DVDs to watch. Most of the rooms have their own TV. Breakfast is served between 8and 9am and is a multi course communal affair. This is a very beautiful and friendly B&B and there are several restaurants within walking distance.

In the general vacinity are Okemo Ski Resort, Manchester Vermont Outlet shopping and plenty of antique stores.

Martin Hill Inn

The rooms at the Martin Hill Inn are spread out between the Guest House and the original house. There are seven rooms available. They are all beautifully decorated and offer some canopy bed options and twin beds. Every one of them is beautiful and really there is no picking a bad room. They are very good at filling special requests like down pillows and dietary restrictions.

Rooms are decorated with antiques and have comfortable seating options as well. None of the rooms have a TV but they do have air conditioning. There are not any restaurants near the B&B but the Innkeeper has a terrific selection of menus and will give recommendations if asked. Every effort has been made to make sure that you have a comfortable stay. Breakfasts are communal and will alternate between egg and starch dishes if you are staying multiple days. It is served between 8-9am

Strawberry Banke, The Redhook Brewery and plenty of downtown shopping in Portsmouth are all within an easy drive.
