Salvation Witnessing and Grace
If ever you doubted the gift so freely given
Blinded by feelings of failure to reach perfection
In the eyes of the Savior and Creator
You've only stepped so far from the center
The core of your being the source of His Radiant Light
And yet you feel alone
You feel unloved in your doubt and internal strife
What blessings are those you've counted upon the mantel of your heart
These same blessings are not yours to count as they are never complete
For from your peaceful states
Come a Bright Shining Light
A beacon of hope and joy for all to share in your secret State
As you hold dear to your peace
As clarity slowly slips away
As the world comes rushing in to feed upon complacency
To whom do you turn?
Not outward for all are lost in their own paths
Treading heavily upon limited understanding paved in good intentions
The one true thing is that which you cannot escape
The one point of light shinning from your hollow unfinished heart invites
The guest of honor in your recess is none other than He
For it is not by your efforts that you've secured His stead
But by the sheer force of necessity that He now joyfully resides in you, and I
Would a guest not be free to roam the halls in your home?
Would there be any secret place that should not be made avail?
Can you take a measure of solace in any concealed well hidden thing?
As all things hidden are in plain sight when the darkness is defeated by the light
So too will freedom reign by the measure of its recession from want and needless suffrage
The pain one feels at the height of hubris is that of vanity before the Lord
One cannot conceal a dark thought when the light is pouring forth and into the center of being
Allowing the mercies and moments of grace to envelop the flailing heart in times of doubt
Realizing that there is no me without He
That we are as yet complete without that spark
That Light
That undeserved forgiveness for waywardness and reckless abandon when faced with His Grace
When we realize that there is nothing that can be done to curry His favor
That no deed or act not done will make the reward any sweeter
That for this reason and this reason alone
Out of love He sent His only Son
To suffer at the hands of the lost Chosen Peoples
To flout this gift of release from the burden of the second death
To fly the flags of pride and judgments partaken in lieu of the blessing
This is an affront to His love
That which pours freely from the vine and the mill
That became flesh and purifying blood
So that all souls hence forth and hereafter be made white as the driven snow
These truths are self-evident
That all have come short of the Glory of God
That He who loves his life more that He has loved another as he was loved
Will most assuredly lose that which he squanderously holds so dear
Life is not ours to take
Nor to waste
Nor to shore against the coming storm
As all who bear witness to the Glory of the coming of the Lord
And speak of His blessings in Unceasing mindful living embodiment of Praise
These are those who will find surcease from the suffering that is Darkness
Salvation is not found in a book
Nor can it be earned
It is a gift given freely
That must be spoken of in reverence to its source
The giver of gifts only asks that we not squander and be of a greedy boastful heart
But instead lead lives of humble stature and unending supplication to the Holy Trinity
No act is more meaningful
No thought more pure
No contrition more sound
Than that which is done with and thru
His Perfect all-abiding Love
