Under a starlit night
Oh it is but a dream to have
a dashing young lad
come sweep me from my feet
maybe we'll meet
at the barefoot boogie
eying each other
with a long and warm embrace
to the moon we shall dance
under a starlit night
an orchestra playing romance
you give me fever
take my hand
we'll foxtrot
and I'll spin you around the floor
come fly with me
we'll do the charleston
and an aerial just for fun
come fly with me
we'll do swing
step step triple step
come fly with me
we'll dance till dawn
my palm in your hand
parting into the night
with a kiss and a bow
oh it is but a dream to have
a dashing young lad
come sweep me from my feet

Shining through to break the still,
Give me strength,
