Poetry: Letters

No News Today

I don't know what to write today
Because there's no news here
I'm at a loss of words you know
Does that make it very clear?
Every day is much the same
And nothing happens much
Buts still it's nice to write to you
And always keep in touch.
I guess I have to find some work
Or even write another book
My mind must be kept busy now
I'll take another look.
Crochet and knitting keeps my hands
Working when I rest
But that's not enough to please me
My mind needs another quest.
So guess I'll write to Hadley
And get another course
In something that will interest me
And keep my brain on course.

The End
