Hello old friend where have you gone
you've been away all season.
Were you lost in that space in your mind.
Your island in the sea.
Swim to the shore to find your escape
and never think to return.

I have grown weary of this place
and I need to just get away
I feel the sea breeze in my lungs
It is not what I had expected
The taste of this freedom is bitter sweet
It reminds me of I have what I've left behind.
Now the time has come for me
to start my life all over.
That would be selfish and in-vain
I miss what I call home.
