Naked in the Fog
Stoned dreams are running wild
in the smoke rings I have made.
Blue and White, they reappear
and spread to cure the worried mind.
Everything seems to be clearer now
that I am naked in the fog.
I can't see your vibrant rays
reflecting from the purple hilltops.
I just see your passing shadow
dancing with the clouds.
Can you hear me sing off key
to the songs that once made you smile?
Keep me in your silent prayers
while I spin my hopes to the moon.
I'm just stuck with this Bohemian smirk
that has been burned upon my shattered lips.
After all, it was always my choice
to run naked in the fog.
