This Is Me: Like It or Not
I know who I am,
I am simply being me,
I carry no false pretenses.
I know what I do,
I am aware of the consequences.
I may not be perfect,
I am far from being so.
When you say that I don't fit in,
I say I know.
You say I am brash and untamed.
Just because I talk and laugh to loudly.
You say I have no morals.
Just because I sway my hips and raise my chin proudly.
You say I am spiteful and mean,
Just because I speak the truth everywhere I go.
When you say that I don't fit in,
I say I know.
What I do may not be right,
What I say may cause them pain.
What I dream may scare them,
What I believe may be insane.
What I am is simply an individual
What I am not is your freak show.
When you say I don't fit in,
I say I know.

a bond had formed

That's not much.
I am me.
That's enough.
I may not be perfect.
I may not be thin.
Sometimes I feel like life,
Is a game
Whatever my ill
I accept me
Whatever my thrill
I accept me
Wherever I have to go
I accept me

Whatever my mental state
I am not
When you don't know who you are,
When things seems bleak and hopeless,
There is no one who can help you on earth,
But there
